Professionally, I have been a high school English teacher, an ESL teacher in the U.S. and an EFL teacher in the Czech Republic (where I met my husband). I founded a non-profit called Someone’s Child that combats human trafficking through education and prevention. And I am the former Copy and Content Editor of READY magazine. I continue to be a contributing writer for various sites and print, and am currently working on a memoir about life with a medically fragile kid.
